In Focus: Chehalis VISIONS program celebrates five graduates

The Chehalis School District’s VISIONS program celebrated five graduates on Tuesday night, June 9: Volodymyr Boichuk, of Centralia; Athens Corona Garcia, of Centralia; Wesley Tupper, of Chehalis; Cierra Zain, of Winlock; and Kaylee Lewis, of Chehalis. 

VISIONS is a program for 18- to 22-year-old students with disabilities that teaches post-secondary education, employment and independent living.



Students come from school districts throughout Lewis County.

Students in the VISIONS program work and engage in the community through classroom-based support and facilitated opportunities through community partners where they get to explore careers and learn valuable life and work skills, according to the school district.
