Hundreds of model train enthusiasts young and old descended upon the Blue Pavilion at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds over the weekend for the Lewis County Model Railroad Club’s annual spring train show and swap meet.

Organized in partnership with the Lewis County Historical Museum, model train engines, authentic railroad antiques, model train diorama accessories, customization for models and more were available at the show and swap meet.

“This benefits both the Lewis County Historical Museum and the train club,” Museum Director Jason Mattson told The Chronicle.

The Lewis County Model Railroad Club’s annual fall train show and swap meet is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 18 and 19, according to a post on the club’s Facebook page.  For more information on the Lewis County Model Railroad Club, visit its Facebook page at https://tinyurl.com/2s3m284w.
