The Swede Day Festival swept through Rochester on Saturday morning, with its parade, vendors and activities attracting large crowds.

As always, Swede Hall was the center of operations, with the building hosting the Swedish Pancake Breakfast to kick things off on Saturday morning after the Swede Day Royalty Court Coronation was held on Friday night.

In addition to the popular parade, which kicked off at 11 a.m. on U.S. Highway 12, the festival also included cornhole tournaments and a beer garden for the first time.  As always, there was plenty of music, dancing and vendors.

Longtime community volunteers Del and Teresa Doll were named the grand marshals Swede Day Festival.
