In Loving Memory of Deborah Ann Oberg: 1955-2021

Deborah Ann Oberg, born May 3, 1955, in Chehalis, Washington, to Alfred and Maxine Chromey from Toledo, Washington, passed away in her Toledo Home on Sept. 11, 2021. Debbie bravely battled cancer for 23 years including stage four ovarian cancer for the last 12 years. 

Debbie attended Toledo High School and married John Oberg on Oct. 30, 1971. She was a long-time employee of the Winlock IGA Pharmacy and was much loved by her fellow employees and customers. Debbie loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with her husband John. As an accomplished gardener, she always maintained a beautiful yard and garden. 

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, John Oberg; son, Paul Oberg; daughter, Heather Caywood; sisters Janie Austin and Nancy Damewood; brother, Jim Chromey; grandchildren; Mikayla Caywood, Denacia Oberg and Sage Oberg; and great-grandchildren Ryder, Tizley and Jayden. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021 at Toledo St. Francis Mission at 2 p.m.
