In loving memory of Georgie Ann Radnich: 1932-2024

Posted

Georgie Ann Radnich died at home on June 20, 2024, in Chehalis, Washington, at the age of 91.

Born on Nov. 22, 1932, in Crookston, Minnesota, she was the first of five children born to George and Agnes Lindberg.

The Lindbergs moved to Seattle in 1941. It was there that Georgie met her sweetheart and future husband, Jack Radnich. Together, they raised a family of five children.

After years of following Jack’s forestry career around the state, the family settled in Chehalis in 1964 and established themselves as active members of the community and their church.

Their faith in Jesus was evident, and even in her last days, Georgie was dedicated to sharing the love of Christ with everyone she met.

Undoubtedly, generations of Chehalins will remember “Mrs. Radnich” from her career as a secretary in the Chehalis School District between 1972 and 1993.

Georgie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack. She leaves behind a very large family, including: four siblings; Claire Tate (Gary), Jerry Lindberg (Barbara), Jim Lindberg (Trudy) and Jack Lindberg (Judy); sister-in-law, Patricia Robertson; brother-in-law, Tony Radnich (Joy); five children, Steve Radnich (Cecile), Julie Anderson (Mark), Jim Radnich, Joanne Rasmussen (Kyle) and Janet Pierson (Darren); 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Georgie's life will be held at 3 p.m. on June 30, 2024, at Bethel Church, located at 132 Kirkland Road, Chehalis.
