Maureen Florence Nolen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and faithful servant of Jesus Christ, went home to Heaven on Oct. 3, 2026.
Maureen was born on Oct. 11, 1944, in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, England. As a young woman, she proudly served in the Royal Air Force as a radar operator, demonstrating dedication, strength and commitment that would define her throughout her life.
In 1969, Maureen married the love of her life, Connie Nolen. Together they embarked on a journey that brought them to Washington State, where they built a home and raised their family. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and devotion, and together they shared 57 happy years of marriage.
Above all, Maureen was a woman of deep faith. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, she lived her life as an example of God’s love and grace. Through her testimony, compassion and unwavering faith, she helped lead many people, including members of her own family, to faith in Christ.
Maureen was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother and treasured friend. Her kindness, wisdom and caring spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Connie Nolen; son, Sam Nolen; daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Jayden, Lane, Colt and great-grandson, Elijah; sister, Valerie; and brother, William. She also leaves behind extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
While her family grieves her loss, they rejoice in the assurance that she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Her legacy of faith, love and devoting will continue to live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.

A Funeral Service for Maureen will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Grigory and Pastor Johnny Ray Lake officiating. Burial will be private in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
