Posted

Sherry Darlene Cline, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024. She was born on Sept. 14, 1948, in Manchester, Tennessee, to Robert and Ernestine Wiechert.

She moved to Port Townsend at eight months old and lived there until she graduated. She married William Cline on Jan. 6, 1967, and was welcomed into a large family that soon became her own. Sherry and her husband Bill raised their children in the community of Napavine. She was known for her generosity, strength and unwavering love for her family.

Sherry's life was a testament to resilience and compassion. She dedicated herself to nurturing her family, and her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. Her home was always a place of warmth and laughter where she created countless memories with her loved ones.

Sherry retired from K-mart after 30 years. She loved playing Bingo and slots with her friends, Gloria Jones, Shirley Dickey and Cindy Ulrich. Her caring nature extended beyond her family, touching the lives of many who were fortunate to know her.

She is survived by her husband, William Cline; her three children, Angela Cothern, Melissa Cline and Jeff Cline; as well as seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren who will remember her for her boundless love.

Sherry Darlene Cline will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us.

At her request, there will be no service at this time.
