I’ve always had a certain fascination concerning Sen. John Braun’s politics.
He is the ultimate Republican, almost willing to subscribe to anything in his party, to the point of what most people would say is following the party line over the cliff.
However, I take exception now. In my younger years, when applying for employment, I filled out an application, and included my resume. When asked for recommendations from people who knew me, I tried to include those who were upright, had no criminal convictions, were noted members of the community, those who were well respected and held in high regard.
Today, I wonder if Sen. Braun would like to reconsider one of his endorsements, notably that of our current president. I’d find it difficult to have a convicted felon — 34 counts — someone associated with a pedophile, plus Stormy Daniels, the ill-fated Iran War, and someone of dubious financial matters try to convince me to vote for Sen. Braun.
The list could go on, but I hope that somehow Sen. Braun can extract himself from his association with President Trump and show us what he really stands for in the upcoming election.
We deserve better than Trump.
