I read the Corey Christensen article in last Thursday’s edition of The Chronicle.
It hit home. If any of you haven’t read it, do so now. You need to know this. The office of sheriff is critically important to each of us.
Does our sheriff serve us all with integrity and independence from undesirable influences?
Are we to live knowing our law enforcement is committed to the equal application of justice?
Or are we to live in fear and silence under a regime that is connected and plays favorites?
Your vote will decide that. I know who I’m voting for, and I pray the sicarios do not intervene to deprive us of a choice.
