It is very disheartening for my sister and myself. Our parents are buried at Sticklin Memorial Park.
In the past few months, we have had every pot of flowers we have left on their grave taken. Spring flowers taken. Mother’s Day flowers taken. Memorial Day and Fourth of July flowers taken.
How low do you have to be to steal from the cemetery?
We do not live in the area, so we are traveling to leave the potted flowers. We have had others check, and even when we have returned, flowering plants are gone.
My mom volunteered many hours in the cemetery when it was in disrepair. She loved her hometown and wanted to be laid to rest there. It is frustrating and sad that we continue to have this happen.
