Letter writer Nicholas Cook of Chehalis informs us in a recent letter that permitless carry has been statistically proven to lead to more gun violence.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Even a casual search of the record reveals that would-be predators quail at the prospect of discovering their intended prey is armed and prepared to defend himself. A bad man with a gun is a bad thing, but a good man with a gun is not. Seriously, if the armed citizenry who have a million guns and 50 million rounds of ammunition were a problem, you’d know it.
