Here’s some history: Once Ronald Reagan was elected, the Republicans have taken advantage of the middle-class by destroying workers unions, taxing unemployment, taxing Social Security and you pay less and less in taxes.
So, who cares? Well, I‘ve been poor, and I know what that’s like.
So, Mr. Walsh, why don’t you come to Yakima and dress like a normal person without flashing your credentials and see what care you get. If you get ill in Yakima, they usually take you by ambulance or medical flight to Seattle, and if you don’t have insurance, are you willing to cover the costs?
I’ve seen the list from the Senate showing that it’s possible they could close three hospitals within a 70-mile radius in the Yakima Valley. I’m sure you and Dan Newhouse are in cahoots, and his solution is to take Tribal money to save the hospital in Toppenish.
We had two hospitals in Yakima, and now we only have one, and the Republicans in Yakima have been running the show for decades, and it keeps getting worse and worse.
Are you an expert on illegals? I’ve been to Aberdeen, and I don’t remember seeing many illegals. I’ve lived in the Yakima Valley since 1978. Most of the illegals I know are good people with good families. Do you actually think someone on Medicaid is going to prune trees when it’s 15 degrees?
Republicans are stealing from the poor to give to the rich.
