This letter to the editor is in support of Jessica Stickley for Lewis County coroner.
I have known Jessica for the better part of 20 years and she has been someone I could seek for advice, even at a moment's notice.
The coroner’s office is arguably one of the most important offices of any county, and Lewis County is no exception. It presents its own distinctive challenges both geographically and politically.
She is both ready and willing to face these challenges.
Jessica is who this county needs in order to meet the continually evolving and growing population with regards to resources involving suicide prevention, outreach programs and so forth.
Her education, both established and continuing, has made her more than a commensurate match for the duties and responsibilities of this office.
Ask any of her friends and family members and they will say the same thing. They will put their trust in her when it matters most.
I am both proud of her and fortunate to meet and have known her for as long as I have.
Please consider this as my endorsement for Jessica Stickley for the office of Lewis County coroner.
