I don’t know about you, but I am drained.
I know it’s by design in our current society but, dang, even the local politics is starting to take a toll.
The current president and his regime are creating an absolute mess of the world. The price of everything is up. There is no end in sight. The president doesn’t even care about the mess he has created.
We are in a true quagmire in Iran and it is the average person who is paying for it, to the tune of $25 billion of taxpayers’ money so far.
Not to mention the ballroom at $1 billion now. We didn’t even ask for that. The reflecting pool “upgrade” went from $1.5 million to $13 million.
And so much more. And for those loyal followers who bought a Trump phone — oops, sorry. The grift continues.
What we need is someone who cares about the people in this country, someone who follows laws and norms of the office. Not posting 50 times in a few hours in the middle of the night about conspiracies and outright unhinged behavior.
We need an adult somewhere in our government. Please.
Then here at the local level, the old boys network is really showing its true colors. The current county sheriff is allowing cronies to skate on so much, then there is the anonymous complaints about current candidates, etc.
There is something extra fishy going on in our county.
How about that state representative who insults people on his public facing social media page and being a belligerent jerk as part of his persona? Is this the best we can do? Where are the grown-ups?
The endorsement by that guy in the White House is not so ringing if we are all paying $6 per gallon or more by the time the midterms come around. You might want to get off those coattails. What can you do to help average people, to reign in this stupid spending and to get a handle on this debacle of war?
How about the U.S. debt? Nearly doubling since this guy came into office.
Now before you start saying “what about” Biden, Obama or some other excuse, try owning this.
Instead of blaming, how about finding solutions, suggestions and answers. I am waiting.
