Letter to the editor: Where do our Republican lawmakers stand on Trump’s attack on elections?

Current Washington state lawmakers Sens. John Braun and Jeff Wilson and Reps. Peter Abbarno, Joel McEntire, Ed Orcutt and Jim Walsh, the moment has arrived where you either stand by your office’s oath to defend the U.S. Constitution and the laws of the State of Washington, or you consent to the Traitor-in-Chief’s egregiously unconstitutional attack on our state’s rights.

But you can’t just sit by silently while yesterday’s seditious executive order is inevitably injuncted.

Donald Trump just declared war on Washington’s lawful voting systems, and that’s a red line crossed. I call on each of you to boldly defend the rule of law and our inalienable voting rights.

So are you sycophants to a pedophilic rapist desperately seeking to evade accountability for his despicable crimes, or are you loyal to your oaths and the people you represent?

But make no mistake; if you fail to rise to this moment, you will have indelibly written your name in the book of traitors to both Washington state and our constitutional republic.

The choice is yours. We The People are watching.
