Do you have suggestions and recommendations for reducing flooding in the Chehalis Basin?
The Lewis County Board of Commissioners is seeking volunteers to serve on the Chehalis River Basin Flood Control Zone Advisory Board.
The board provides suggestions and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on mitigating flood damage while restoring aquatic habitats. The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 8 a.m.
The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3. Additional information and applications can be found at lewiscountywa.gov/offices/commissioners.
