Lewis County Fire District 1 and Lewis County Fire District 8 will hold a “Fill the Ambulance” event for the SOMMA Food Bank, which serves Onalaska, Salkum and other areas of central Lewis County.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at each of the fire districts’ main stations, 2490 U.S. Highway 12, Salkum, and 1733 state Route 508, Onalaska. Residents are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items. A holiday bazaar will be held at the Salkum station during the same time.
