Lewis County Looking for Great Rivers Behavioral Health Advisory Board Volunteer

Looking to get involved with behavioral health and substance use disorder services in your community? Then Lewis County is looking for you. 

The Lewis County Board of Commissioners announced it is searching for a new volunteer to serve between one and three hours a month on the Great Rivers Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization advisory board. 

Terms on the advisory board last for three years and the board also includes representatives from Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Pacific and Wahkiakum counties. The board meets every first Tuesday of the month from 2 to 4 p.m. and meetings are held virtually. 

Some of the duties board members are responsible for are providing comments on plans, budgets and policies to the Great Rivers Governing Board; identifying resources for people with unmet needs; providing people using behavioral health services, along with their families, opportunities to voice comments and concerns.
