Lewis County community members and partner organizations are invited to attend the first Lewis County Safe Kids Coalition kick-off meeting on Thursday, March 26.
This introductory meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to learn more about the coalition, discuss child safety priorities in Lewis County, review 2026 planning efforts and explore ways to get involved.
To make participation easier, the coalition will offer two virtual meeting options on March 26: noon to 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 7 p.m. Both sessions will be held via Zoom using meeting ID 816 1874 5259 and passcode 777576.
The first meeting will mark the beginning of efforts to build a strong local coalition focused on keeping kids safe and will welcome community members and partners interested in helping shape future prevention efforts, according to a news release from the county.
Discussion topics will include Safe Kids priorities, 2026 Lewis County plans and opportunities for community involvement.
