Lewis County Seeking Two Fair Advisory Board Members

The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners is looking for two volunteers to fill vacancies on the Southwest Washington Fair Advisory Board, according to a county news release. 

Volunteers on the advisory board meet at the fairgrounds at 5 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month, and are “counting down the days to the Aug. 15 launch of the 2023 fair,” according to the release. 

This year’s fair theme is “bee friendly, bee at the fair.” 

The group is responsible for making decisions that shape the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds and the fair itself. 



Interested applicants must submit a letter of interest and the application to BOCC Clerk Rieva Lester one of three ways including by mail at 351 NW North St., Chehalis, WA 98532; by email to committees@lewiscountywa.gov with “Attn.: Fair” in the subject line; or in person at the commissioners’ office on the second floor of the historic courthouse at 351 NW North St. in Chehalis.
