The Onalaska girls soccer team earned its first road win of the season Monday, going to Cowlitz County and beating Toutle Lake 3-0 in a non-league affair.

Leighton Underhill scored the Loggers’ first two goals, the first coming unassisted and the second off an assist from Yuliana Escalera.

That would be all until the very end of the match, when Randi Haight bagged a goal of her own with an assist from Jules Auman in second-half stoppage time.

The Loggers (2-2) outshot the Ducks 11-5, led by three from Jacee Talley, while Escalera, Haight, and Underhill each had two.

At the back, Hailee Brown made two saves in the first half and three in the second to keep her sheet clean.

Onalaska will get its first league test at home Wednesday, when it hosts Ocosta in a rematch of last year’s first-round matchup in the district tournament; the Loggers won that match 4-1.
