In a battle of Vikings, Mossyrock couldn’t keep up with Bellevue Christian in dropping a 40-13 verdict at CH Flynn Field in Clyde Hill.
Mossyrock’s two touchdowns came in the final frame. Austin Isom found the end zone from 7-yards out and quarterback Blue Sievers scored from 2-yards out. Those two combined for 169 yards on the ground for the night.
“Just had to claw back and keep it reasonable,” Vikings head coach Robbie Dailey said. “We’ve always talked about how you got to play the good teams. We got to build our identity, whatever that is.”
Mossyrock will welcome Evergreen (Seattle) next week for its home opener.
