Nature Nurture Farmacy invites the community to celebrate at the eighth annual Earth Day Celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in downtown Chehalis on Northeast Boistfort Street.
This free, family-friendly event, presented in partnership with the Chehalis Farmers Market, brings together local farmers, artisans and community organizations for an afternoon centered on healthy land and healthy communities, a news release from Nature Nurture Farmacy stated.
Attendees can enjoy: Plant starts from local farmers; a hands-on potting station for kids; face painting and Garden Guide coloring books; live music; farm animals; local vendors and community resource booths; and a peaceful community labyrinth.
The celebration will take place in the same location as the Chehalis Farmers Market, which runs Tuesdays from May through October.
Community members are also encouraged to visit additional Earth Day activities happening nearby, including a clean-up event hosted by Experience Chehalis at the Lewis County Historical Museum.
Volunteers are welcome and play an important role in bringing this event to life. To get involved, contact info@naturenurturefarmacy.org.
