Next Chamber of Commerce Forum to Focus on Lewis County Rural Housing Update

The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly forum on April 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at O’Blarney’s at the Gibson House, located at 221 N. Tower Ave. in Centralia.

 The forum is titled “Lewis County Rural Housing Update.”

The event will open its doors at 11:30 a.m. with the forum beginning at noon and lasting approximately one hour. The event is open to the public with a $5 beverage and sitting fee. The buffet lunch costs $17. Space is limited. Those who want lunch should arrive early. 



Eric Eisenberg, the Lewis County housing and infrastructure specialist, will be the speaker. Eisenberg promotes infrastructure and housing at all income levels in Lewis County. Formerly a Lewis County deputy prosecuting attorney for over 10 years, Eisenberg transitioned from being chief civil deputy to a housing and infrastructure focus in 2021.

In his current role, Eisenberg leads the Lewis County Housing Initiative, a multistep, multi-department plan to increase the affordability and availability of housing, as well as working on non-housing infrastructure projects, such as broadband promotion and water stewardship.
