The ninth annual gala opening of the Rectangle Gallery & Creative Space Young Artists Exhibition and Show will feature the artwork of 25 local children ages 7 to 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 4.
Jan Nontell, owner and operator of the Rectangle Gallery & Creative Space, 209 N. Tower Ave., Centralia, stopped by Tuesday’s Centralia City Council meeting to highlight the “social event of the season.”
“All of them are excited. All of them are currently working on their art and getting ready for this,” she said. “We would love to see everybody come out and support our new generation of creative artists and people.”
Nontell said young artists don’t have to show their artwork when they register, but she sits down with them to learn more about selling and sharing their artwork with people, giving them a one-on-one on the business of art.
