The Chehalis Public Works Department will close North Market Boulevard between Northeast Park Street and Northeast Boistfort Street starting on Monday, Oct. 7, for asphalt repairs that must be completed before the winter season, according to a city news release.
Repair work will begin from 5 a.m. to noon on Monday, Oct. 7, and continue from 5 a.m. to noon or until work is completed on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
Because of the size of the repairs needed, there would not be enough room for vehicles to drive safely through the area, so a detour will be in place.
“Parking within the work zone will also be prohibited during this time,” the release added.
