The Oakville baseball team scored at will on Tuesday against Mary M. Knight, as the Acorns put up an 18-run and 15-run inning in a 38-1 victory.
The box score looks like one out of a video game.
All nine Acorns drew a walk, four recorded multiple hits, and six batted in four or more runs. As a team, they drew 25 walks and drove in 32 runs.
Dre Kluth went 4 for 4 with a pair of doubles, driving in four and scoring four runs of his own. Daniel Rodas went 2 for 3 with five RBIs and five runs, while Gio Rodas went 2 for 3 with four RBIs and Koner Burnett went 2 for 4 with four runs batted in of his own.
Both Gio Rodas and Burnett also scored five runs a piece.
The Acorns (1-0) will return to Oakville for their home opener on Friday against Naselle.
