Onalaska’s dastardly defense held Toutle Lake to single-digit scoring in all four quarters and the Loggers engineered a 49-19 blowout road victory over the Ducks in a Central 2B League matchup Tuesday.

Junior guard Morgan Hamilton nearly outscored the Ducks on her own, putting up a game-high 16 points to go with five rebounds. Jaycee Talley tallied 10 points, while Dakota Hamilton added seven points and five boards and Callie Lawrence scored nine points and hauled in five rebounds.

Cierra Russ finished with a team-high four assists to go with five steals, while point guard Brooklyn Sandridge swiped five steals of her own.

“It was a great team win tonight,” Onalaska coach Alana Olson said. “Every player contributed. The girls came out with intensity from start to finish.”

The Loggers shot 18 of 63 from the field, including 6 of 21 from long range. They connected on 6 of 13 shots from the charity stripe.

Onalaska heads to Kalama on Wednesday for another league tilt.
