A 63-year-old Edmonds man was injured Friday after a pickup truck hauling a boat trailer rolled on state Route 7, according to the Washington State Patrol.

David R. Delgado, 62, of Tulalip, was traveling south in a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup truck at about 4 p.m. when, while negotiating a turn, the trailer fishtailed and rolled, causing the truck to also roll before coming to rest in the southbound ditch.

Delgado was not injured. Phillip D. Parker, his passenger, was transported to Arbor Health Morton Hospital with unspecified injuries, according to the state patrol. Both men were wearing seat belts.

The pickup truck and trailer were totaled. The boat had reportable damage, according to the state patrol, which listed the cause of the crash as “speeds too fast for conditions.”

Drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash, according to the state patrol.
