Open class entries at the Southwest Washington Fair for people of all ages and skill levels are now open online through the fair’s website. Online registration is required for entrants.

While entries are all brought to the fairgrounds during department timelines, the online system allows event organizers to budget the time and space available for exhibitions.

Livestock and poultry entrants should visit the exhibitor’s handbook for information.

For open class entries that are not breathing, in-person department deadlines are as follows:

Superintendent contact information is also available in the handbook for anyone with questions.

The portal can be found at https://southwest.fairwire.com and allows entrants to submit to categories and sponsored contests, which can all be found in the handbook online or in a paper copy from the fair office.

Contest winners can receive special prizes, depending on the contest. Likewise, exhibitors of all kinds are in the running for winning “Best of Department,” “People’s Choice,” the award for best 2023 Fair Theme submission, best of division and other categories.
