The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for State Farm agent Michaela Voeller at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24. Voeller is hosting an open house as part of the festivities that will continue at 7 p.m. at 883 S. Market Blvd. in Chehalis.

Voeller is new to the community, having grown up in North Dakota and moved to Chehalis with her parents four years ago, according to the chamber. She and her husband, Mathew, a registered nurse with Providence, chose to stay for the opportunities and the community.

“She has been working within the insurance industry for three years with an eye toward running her own agency,” the chamber stated in a release. “Longtime residents will recognize the office as formerly Gene Sanders with State Farm and Voeller is pleased to note that Sheryl Gafford, who worked for Sanders for 51 years, is a familiar face remaining with the transition of the new business.

Voeller is thoroughly enjoying her work, especially “meeting customers and working with a great team of employees,” according to the chamber, which added she doesn’t see herself as a salesperson.

“I’m here to help customers with their needs, dreams and goals,” she stated in the release.

The community is invited to attend the ribbon cutting and open house, enjoy root beer floats and meet her team.

Voeller can be reached at 360-748-8833 or by emailing michaela@avewithjoy.biz.
