Dallan J. Annon allegedly broke into the Coos County Animal Shelter last week and walked out with several dogs, according to the sheriff’s department.

Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy put out a call for the public to be on the lookout for stolen dogs after responding Wednesday to a report of a burglary at the shelter.

Later Wednesday, a local reported seeing the dogs and the possible suspect near the Coos Bay McDonalds.

Annon, 40, was arrested on first-degree theft, second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief charges, according to the sheriff’s office.

He went to the Coos County Jail and the dogs went back to the shelter.
