Nighttime and early morning travelers who use the U.S. Highway 101 and Interstate 5 ramps in Tumwater will want to plan additional travel time, a news release from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) advised.
From 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, until 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, the following ramps will close:
• Southbound U.S. 101 to northbound I-5.
• Deschutes Way to northbound I-5.
Signed detours will be posted.
The closures create work zones for WSDOT crews to make pavement repairs. Whenever near work zones, the WSDOT requests travelers to slow down, be kind, pay attention and stay calm.
