The Adna baseball team completed a sweep of Kalama on Saturday, as the Pirates topped Kalama 13-7.

The Pirates (5-2, 5-1 C2BL) took an early lead with three in the first and two in the second, but the Chinooks scored five in the third to tie the game.

The Adna offense kept rolling, though, adding three in the fourth, two in the fifth, and three more in the third to open up a 13-5 lead.

Two Chinook runs in the seventh only made a small dent in the lead, and the Pirates came away with their fourth win in a row.

Tristan Percival went five innings on the bump, giving up five runs (four earned) on five hits while walking three and striking out nine. He also went 1 for 3 at the plate with an RBI and he scored two runs.

Daniel Hoinowski pitched the final two innings, giving up two hits and two unearned runs while walking two and striking out three. He had himself a day at the dish, going 2 for 2 with a double and three RBIs.

Reid Caviness went to the plate four times without recording an at-bat, as he drew four walks and scored four times.

Adna will host Rainier for the first of a two-game set on Wednesday.
