Three errors on defense and quiet bats at the plate doomed Adna in a non-league game against Ilwaco on Friday night in a 10-0 setback on the road.
The Fishermen plated three runs in the bottom of the second to jump ahead 4-0 and added four runs in the fifth to put the contest out of reach. A tally in the sixth ignited the mercy rule.
Adna (1-2) recorded five hits on the night, one of them being a double. It left runners stranded in scoring position in the fourth and sixth frames.
