A man was robbed of his iPad tablet on Sunday afternoon while walking down Martin Way East in Olympia, and police have yet to apprehend the suspects.

Lt. Paul Lower said police were dispatched at around 2 p.m. to the 3100 block of Martin Way East. A man reported he was walking along the road when he was approached by a man and a woman. The victim said the man pulled out a handgun and demanded his iPad tablet.

The two took the man's tablet and left on foot in an unknown direction, Lower said. The victim reported not knowing the two. The man was described as being 6-foot-2 with a goatee and wearing all black. Lower said the woman was described as being shorter, with long black hair in a ponytail, wearing a blue hoodie.

Lower said detectives with OPD have taken on the case, and anyone with information is asked to call 360-753-8300.
