In its final regular season game of the season, the Toledo volleyball team fell in three sets to Wahkiakum, 25-12, 25-7, 25-10, Wednesday night.

Though the Riverhawks lost, it won’t be their last game of the season. They’ll play in a play-in game on Friday against Morton-White Pass at 6:30 p.m., and if they win, will play Rainier for the last spot in the district playoffs.

Wednesday, the Riverhawks got eight digs and three assists from Brynn Williams, and they played well on the defensive side, but couldn’t finish rallies.

“Wahkiakum is a scrappy team,” Riverhawks coach Briana Klingberg said. “They weren’t letting anything hit the floor. We need to push offensively and I believe we can. I’m proud of how far these girls have come and they aren’t done yet.”
