Rural Lewis County Indivisibles has announced in a news release it will hold a sign-waving demonstration from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 7 at 1020 W. Main St., Centralia.
The location is across from the Planned Parenthood building.
This peaceful sign waving, titled “Care No Matter What, Thank You Planned Parenthood,” is in support of the benefits that Planned Parenthood provides the community, according to the news release.
Rural Lewis County Indivisibles’ goal is to educate the community about all the services Planned Parenthood provides that would disappear if it was unable to continue, the news release stated.
This local event is being organized by Rural Lewis County Indivisibles. The Indivisible movement is a movement driven by “a vision of democracy of, by and for the people,” according to the release.
The group has held several protests critical of the Trump administration throughout the past year.
