In another big non-league win, the Tenino boys basketball team defeated 2A Aberdeen on the road Saturday night, 69-61.
The Beavers were led by another torrid scoring effort from Noah Schow, who dropped 37 points on a blistering 11 of 20 shooting from the field and 13 of 15 effort from the charity stripe. On the glass and inside, Tenino big man Jack Burkhardt added 18 points, 15 rebounds, and a huge six blocks in the win.
Tenino used a huge first and fourth quarter effort to separate from the Bobcats. After two tough quarters in the middle, a strong start and finish propelled the Beavers to victory Saturday night.
The undefeated Beavers take on Castle Rock on Tuesday in another big non-league matchup.
