LEWIS COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT
Preliminary appearances
• Trevor K. Durham, 34, Sequim, made a preliminary appearance March 31 for one count of second-degree malicious mischief after he allegedly “started banging the partition between the front and back seats of the (patrol) car” following his arrest for allegedly possessing an open alcohol container outside of La Tarasca restaurant on March 30, according to court documents. Durham also allegedly spit on the partition. Before the incident, Durham reportedly asked the patrol officer to give him a ride to the homeless shelter. The court released Durham on a $10,000 unsecured bond. He is scheduled for an arraignment on April 9.
• Rashelle K. Larson, 32, Pe Ell, made a preliminary appearance March 31 for one count each of driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance while in a county or local correctional facility. According to court documents, law enforcement initially conducted a traffic stop on Larson on March 30 for “erratic lane and speed travel.” After allegedly performing poorly on field sobriety tests, Larson was arrested and booked into jail, where officers allegedly discovered a pipe containing suspected methamphetamine residue hidden on her body. The court released Larson on a $10,000 unsecured bond with the condition that she remain fully compliant with her previously scheduled outpatient treatment. She is scheduled for an arraignment on April 9.
CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Joshua Moloney, 49, Rochester, was arrested after allegedly getting into an argument and breaking down the door of the individual with whom he was arguing in the 800 block of West Plum Street at about 7:13 p.m. March 30.
• Mickayla M. Mitchell, 31, Tacoma, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged third-degree theft, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of West High Street at about 6:26 p.m. March 31.
Burglary
• Vanessa Hunt, 48, Rochester, was arrested in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road at about 1:54 p.m. March 31 after she allegedly refused to leave a motel room for which she had failed to pay for three days. Hunt allegedly resisted arrest and was found in possession of suspected narcotics.
• An unknown subject trespassed onto private property by jumping a fence in the 400 block of Centralia College Boulevard at about 2:15 p.m. March 31.
Fraud
• Fraudulent activity on a bank account was reported in the 300 block of M Street at about 11:42 a.m. March 31.
Malicious Mischief
• Officers received a report of a front door kicked in by an unknown person or persons in the 1500 block of Johnson Road at about 9:45 p.m. March 30.
• Damage to a vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of G Street at about 3:46 p.m. March 31.
Theft
• Building materials were reported stolen from a building site in the 1400 block of Salzer Creek Loop at about 7:43 a.m. March 31.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Brian Imler was arrested in the 1000 block of Southwest 20th Street at about 8:30 p.m. March 27 and booked into jail for an alleged order violation.
• Jordan T. Conwell was issued a criminal citation for allegedly obstructing a public servant in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 9:40 p.m. March 30. Conwell was reportedly booked into the Lewis County Jail.
Drug paraphernalia
• A person was referred to the city attorney for alleged use of drug paraphernalia in the 300 block of Southwest 11th Street at about 5:21 a.m. March 28.
Theft
• Sherrie Morton was issued a criminal citation for alleged third-degree theft in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 6:03 p.m. March 28.
• Loisann M. Scott was issued a criminal citation for alleged third-degree theft in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 4:47 p.m. March 30.
Urinating or defecating in public
• A person was issued a criminal citation for allegedly urinating or defecating in public near the corner of Southwest Chehalis Avenue and Southwest John Street at about 10:45 a.m. March 28.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of April 1, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 159 inmates, including 146 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 126 were reported male and 20 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of April 1, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 17 inmates. Of those, nine were from Centralia, three were from Elma, four were from the Department of Corrections and one was from the Quileute Nation.
