The Economic Alliance of Lewis County will host its annual banquet at Jester’s Auto Museum on Friday, Feb. 2, though tickets for the event sold out within five weeks of going on sale.

The event will include the announcement of four award recipients, including the Gail and Carolyn Shaw Industry Award, the Russ Mohney Recreation Resource Award, the Community Commitment Award and the Economic Alliance Staff Award.

While conservative podcaster and former Seattle reporter Brandi Kruse delivered the keynote speech during last year’s event, the keynote speaker for this year has not been officially confirmed.

The event is sponsored by 13 local companies, individuals and organizations, which include:

• I-5 Cars

• Fortescue Future Industries

• ToledoTel

• Providence Swedish

• Sterling Breen Crushing

• The Chehalis Tribe

• Lightcurve (formerly Rainier Connect)

• Twin Star Credit Union

• Stuart Cavness

• The Industrial Commission

Catering will be provided by The Crowded Kitchen Catering Co., with bar service provided by The Shire Bar and Bistro.

Dolly Tardiff, the program manager of the Business Development Center, said the event aims to highlight organizations within Lewis County, the board of the Economic Alliance and the “people in our community who go above and beyond.”

Doors open for the event at 5:30 p.m. and a social and silent auction begin at 6 p.m. The dinner and program begin at 7 p.m. and will run until 8:30 p.m.
