Southwest Washington Fair to hold “Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night” at Thursday Rodeo

Posted

The Southwest Washington Fair will hold a “Tough Enough To Wear Pink Night” at 6 p.m. during the Lewis County Rodeo on Thursday, Aug. 13.

Residents are invited to wear pink and support the Lewis County Breast Cancer Support Group as it raises money and awareness for the Mayday Foundation.

The Mayday Foundation covers non-medical expenses related to cancer. It focuses on immediate, practical household support and services so a parent can focus on treatment and regaining strength to care for a family, according to a news release.

The rodeo will be held at the grandstands. It’s a two-night rodeo, with the first occurring on Wednesday, Aug. 12. The fairgrounds are located at 1909 S Gold St, Centralia. Separate admission to the rodeo is required. The Lewis County Rodeo Royalty Court will also be crowned at the Thursday show.

Rodeo tickets must be purchased separately from the cost of admission. Learn more at https://southwestwashingtonfair.org/tickets/#/select.

The fair will run from Tuesday, Aug. 11, to Sunday, Aug. 16. Tickets are available at https://tinyurl.com/2s7b55vw, with special events providing discounted ticket prices on certain days.
