The Southwest Washington Fairgrounds will host its annual Spring Garage Sale and Swap Meet on Saturday, March 21, featuring more than 176 vendor booths across six buildings and outdoor spaces.
This year’s event will once again bring together one of the region’s largest community garage sales, offering a wide variety of secondhand treasures, antiques, collectibles, tools, household goods, clothing and unique finds, according to a news release from Lewis County.
For the first time, organizers have also introduced a small swap meet component, with several vendors participating in this new addition. While the swap meet portion is modest in its first year, the fairgrounds hopes to continue growing it alongside the traditional garage sale in future events, according to the release.
“This event has become a favorite for both buyers and sellers,” Lewis County Fair and Events Manager Fionna Velazquez said. “It’s a great opportunity for people to do some spring cleaning, turn unused items into extra cash, and for shoppers to hunt for those one-of-a-kind treasures.”
In addition to shopping, attendees can enjoy several food vendors throughout the fairgrounds, including:
• FFA Burgers
• Fair Association Spaghetti Feed
• Mobile Mermaid Espresso
• Liquid Sunshine Lemonade
• Granddad’s Kettle Corn
Early bird entry is at 8 a.m. and costs $7. General admission opens at 9 a.m. and costs $5. Children 12 and under get in for free. Parking is also free, the release stated.
Attendees are encouraged to enter through the Blue (South) Gate for convenient access to the event.
