The Tumwater boys basketball team remains atop the 2A EvCo standings, as they topped Centralia 64-41 on Wednesday.

The Thunderbirds (11-6, 8-1 2A EvCo) have now won seven games in a row, including three in as many days.

In Centralia, balance was the name of the game, as eleven different Thunderbirds scored, but none of them hit double-digits.

Sahara Anthony III led with nine points, while Henry Wilson, Bryce Morgan and Jake Dillon all added eight, and several others contributed between two and seven.

Clay Morgan dished out eight assists, while Wilson led the team with six rebounds.

The Tigers (3-11, 2-7 2A EvCo) struggled to keep up, as they didn’t score more than 12 points in a single quarter and turned the ball over 18 times. Cohen Ballard led the way for Centralia with 13 points, while Aidan Haines added 11.

A potential league-deciding matchup with W.F. West looms on Friday for Tumwater, while Centralia will be back at home against Black Hills on the same day.
