Washington State Patrol says a 65-year-old Olympia man triggered a wreck on northbound Interstate 5 that injured two people.
About 12:45 p.m. Thursday, July 20, the man was headed north on I-5, approaching Napavine in Lewis County, according to a press memo released by State Patrol.
To the man's left and just behind him were two people also headed north on I-5.
Troopers say the Olympia man attempted to change into their lane, causing the driver to over-correct his steering, which resulted in the vehicle rolling several times.
The 23-year-old male driver from Portland, Oregon, and his 23-year-old female passenger of Seattle were hurt and taken to Providence Centralia Hospital. The Olympia man was not injured.
The cause of the crash was an improper lane change, according to State Patrol.
