A Lacey woman and a Westport man were injured and an Aberdeen man died as the result of a wrong-way crash in Grays Harbor County last week, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The Aberdeen man died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He was identified as Robert W. Mysliwiec, 76, by the King County Medical Examiner's Office.

About 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, the Aberdeen man was headed south on State Route 105, south of Johns River, in the northbound lanes at a high speed, according to the State Patrol. Johns River is between Aberdeen and Westport in Grays Harbor County.

Meanwhile, two other vehicles were headed north on state Route 105.

Troopers say the Aberdeen man crashed head-on into one of those vehicles, while the third driver wound up in a northbound ditch to avoid the wreck.

The two drivers of the northbound vehicles, a 32-year-old Lacey woman and a 56-year-old Westport man, were both injured and taken to Harbor Regional Health in Aberdeen.
