In its final Pacific 2B League contest of the season, the Pe Ell-Willapa Valley baseball team defeated North Beach soundly Monday afternoon in three innings, 15-0.
The Titans were scheduled to play a doubleheader against the Hyaks, but North Beach forfeited the second game.
Liam Smaciarz threw all three innings and didn’t allow a hit, striking out five of the nine batters he faced. He also went 1 for 2 at the plate with an RBI-double.
Riley Pearson, Garrett Keeton, and Kannyon Clements also each had multi-hit days, with Keeton and Pearson each hitting doubles as well.
The Titans have one last tune-up in the regular season against Kalama on Wednesday before the 2B District 4 playoffs this weekend.
