The Adna girls soccer team took advantage of a dry night in Clallam County on Monday, beating Forks 6-0 in a Central 2B League clash.

“After a slow start adjusting to the turf, we started to execute better with our touches and our shots,” Adna coach Patrick Richardson said. “We played together, and we do pretty well when we are doing that.”

Bailey Naillon started the scoring off in the fifth minute, then added an assist to her line on Lydia Tobin’s goal in the 14th, and the Pirates (4-4-3, 4-0-1 C2BL) took a 2-0 lead into the break.

Come the second half, Tobin and Margarite Humphrey took over. Tobin made it 3-0 in the 46th off a Humphrey assist, and three minutes later, Humphrey drilled a 30-yard free kick home to push the lead to 4-0.

Humphrey joined Tobin on two goals in the 57th with an unassisted goal, before Tobin completed her hat trick in the 72nd from an Ava Humphrey assist.

Adna, getting its mileage in this week, will head out to Westport on Wednesday to face Ocosta.
