For those interested in continuing their self defense and martial arts practice, Bill Garrison, who taught a recent free series of women’s self defense classes in Toledo, will hold ongoing classes at Toledo City Hall Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7-9 p.m. or 6-8 p.m., depending on interest.
A free pre-registration/orientation class will be held Nov. 11, with a women’s meeting at 6 p.m. and a men’s meeting at 7 p.m. Children can attend with either parent. Classes cost $40 per month as a donation to Many Prayers Inc. and will begin either Dec. 1 or Jan. 1.
