Continuing his strong run this season, Toledo cross country runner Treyton Marty picked up another win Tuesday at the Joe Williams Black Lake Cross Country Race in Ilwaco.
Marty ran to a win in the boys race in 18:41.9, beating out second-place finisher Jordan Stout of Adna (19:28.4) by almost a minute.
Stout and Marty were the lone area runners to finish in the top-10. On the girls side, Jasmine Kemmerer of Toledo finished seventh in 28:19.4, Adna freshman Megan Price finished eighth in 28:20.09, and Candace Clark of Toledo finished ninth with a time of 28:26.09.
